Acupuncture needles by comparison are much thinner and treatment may give rise to a mild sensation which lasts only a few seconds. Typically you will feel relaxed during treatment, in fact, many patients fall asleep!

An initial consultation lasts between 60 minutes and 90 minutes, where we discuss your symptoms and other dietary or lifestyle factors which may be applicable. Typically a short treatment is included in this session.

Follow-up treatment lasts between 45 minutes and 60 minutes.

Treatment is tailored to you as an individual, drawing on experience gained from the study of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medical Acupuncture.
